If you are aged 14-18 and enjoy creative writing, then join poet and short story writer, Andrew McDonnell for this one day Summer school.

Over the day we will explore voice, character, descriptive writing and poetry. This course is ideal for students of GCSE & A Level English.

This course will be fun and informative and offer students strategies and ideas to take away with them.

I have a full DBS check enabling me to work with children and vulnerable adults.

About the Tutor

Andrew McDonnell is a lecturer in English Literature and Creative Writing at University Centre Peterborough. He has taught creative writing since 2003 and holds an MA in Creative Writing from the UEA. His debut poetry collection, The Somnambulist Cookbook was published by Salt in June 2019. His short stories have appeared in numerous journals.
